About Us

Grower Direct Farms is a family-owned and operated wholesale greenhouse located in picturesque Somers, Connecticut. Founded in 1981 with one acre of greenhouse, we’ve steadily grown to become one of the largest greenhouses in the Northeast.   

Our growth is built upon a singular foundation – our unrelenting commitment to the home gardener’s success.  We are passionate about providing gardeners with plants that look great and perform well in every yard. 

We want everyone to experience the benefits that come with making plants a part of their life. 

Each year we grow hundreds of varieties and ship millions of plants. We work closely with our retail partners to bring these plants and vegetables to hundreds of locations throughout the Northeast.  Our sister company, Grower Merchandising Service, provides best in class care and merchandising for our plants at retail garden centers throughout the region.
